Government Industrial Training (Adivasi), Dewari, District Gondia was established 1984 with the motto of ‘Kaushalyam Balam’ – has been providing for quality training of skilled craftsmen under Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) in different Trades like in Engineering Group Fitter, Electrician, Wireman, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Mechanic Diesel, Welder, and like in Non-Engineering Groups Dress Making, Sewing Technology, Cosmetology. Today, Govt. ITI Dewari has over 300 students from all the District of Gondia. On 22 Aug 2009, Govt. ITI Dewari proudly celebrated its Silver Jubilee.

Government Industrial Training (Adivasi), Dewari, District Gondia, a constituent of Director of Vocational Education of Maharashtra.

With DGT-accredited programs and NSQF compliant curriculum GITI Dewari emphasizes both fundamental principles and advanced technological knowledge. The institute boasts high-quality infrastructure, multimedia classrooms, state-of-the-art labs, high-end computing facilities with the latest software, a modern library with digital media and databases, as well as auditoriums, seminar halls, separate hostels for boys and extensive playgrounds.

The institute fosters a dynamic learning environment, facilitating industry collaborations, global immersion programs, and honours courses, ensuring holistic development through exposure to diverse fields and hands-on projects and practice.

    POTS शासकीय औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्था देवरी जि गोंदिया या संस्थेला एकात्मिक आदिवासी विकास प्रकल्प ऑफिस देवरी यांचेकडून POTS अंतर्गत १० Rack ची ऑर्डर मिळाली होती . आज दिनांक ०१/०५/२०२५ रोजी सदर Rack चे काम वेल्डर ट्रेड मधील प्रशिक्षणार्थी व शिल्पनिदेशक श्री एस.एस.चव्हाण , श्री ए.एम.राउत यांच्या सहाय्याने आणि प्राचार्य श्री बी.एन.तुमडाम तसेच सर्वसाधारण प्राचार्य श्री व्ही.के.कावळे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली पूर्ण झाले असून नमूद कार्यालयास १० rack POTS अंतर्गत आज दिनांक ०१/०५/२०२५ रोजी सुपूर्द करण्यात आले.

    बेटी बचावो बेटी पढाओ जनजागृती रॅली शासकीय औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्था, देवरी जि. गोंदिया येथील सर्व कर्मचारी व प्रशिक्षणार्थी यांनी देवरी शहरामध्ये जनजागृती करण्याकरिता बेटी बचाओ व बेटी पढाओ हा संदेश सामान्य नागरिकांना पोहोचविण्याकरिता रॅली दिनांक 28 फेब्रुवारी 2025 रोजी काढण्यात आली. तसेच या रॅली मध्ये प्रशिक्षणार्थी यांनी देवरी तालुक्यात पथनाट्य सादर केले.

    तालुकास्तरीय क्रीडा स्पर्धा शासकीय औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्था, देवरी जि. गोंदिया येथे दिनांक 7 जानेवारी 2025 रोजी तालुकास्तरीय क्रीडा स्पर्धा चे आयोजन करण्यात आले. यावेळी संस्थेतील विविध ट्रेड मधील 120 प्रशिक्षणार्थी यांनी सहभाग घेतला. प्रशिक्षणार्थी यांनी विविध indoor व outdoor खेळ जसे की चेस, कॅरम, क्रिकेट, व्हॉलिबॉल, कबड्डी,100 मीटर रेस, खोखो, बॅडमिंटन यामध्ये सहभाग घेतला

    तालुकास्तरीय तंत्रप्रदर्शनी 2024 शासकीय औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्था, देवरी जि. गोंदिया येथे दिनांक 18 डिसेंबर 2024 रोजी तालुकास्तरीय तंत्रप्रदर्शनी चे आयोजन करण्यात आले. यावेळी संस्थेतील विविध ट्रेड मधील 40 प्रशिक्षणार्थी यांनी सहभाग घेतला व आपल्या तयार केलेल्या मॉडेल्स आणि प्रोजेक्ट यांचे सादरीकरण केले. यावेळी technical, non-technical, आणि innovative group मधून प्रशिक्षणार्थ्यांना पारितोषिक देण्यात आले.
