The following schemes are implemented under the Directorate of  Vocational Education and Training Department.

  5.  Certificate Course Of MSBVE.
  6. Apprenticeship Training Scheme (ITI / +2 level higher vocational Education)

Craftsman Training Scheme

(Industrial Training Institute )

Training is provided to the youth through employable training institutes for training of skilled and semi-skilled workers. There are 8 government Institutes and 33 private institutes in the district, which has an intake capacity of Government is 1600 and Private Institutes is1968.

In Government Industrial Training Institute, 1533 are admitted for the year 2024-25 and 1694 in Private Industrial Training Institutes.

Pre S.S.C.Vocational Education Scheme

In the 9th and 10th level, pre vocational courses are run for the students to create a broad perspective about future education and to create a good learning for engineerin Education. Presently, 1. Mechanical Technology  (v-2) 2. Electrical Technology (V-3) are implemented through four Government Technical Secondary School. The admission capacity is 960.

 +2 level Higher Secondary Vocational Education Scheme (MCVC)

In the 11th  and 12th level, the students are given employment oriented and suitable professionally oriented training for self employment. This scheme is provided to the youth and there are 08 non Government Granted institutions. It has an intake capacity of 860. There are 125 admissions in the non government organization in 2024-25.

  + 2 level Bifocal Vocational Education

Bifocal Vocational  education is planned for the students to go for higher education at the level of 11th and 12th and also for they employment / self employed for some students. There are 1 government and 03 non-government aided and 14 non-aided institutions in the district, where the scheme is implemented, the government has 150 seats, and the non-government aided organization is 200 and the non-government Unaided is 1100. In 2024-25  there were 65 admission in government institutions and 111 in non-government institutions and 594 non-governmental unaided institutions.

Certificate Course

The course of 6 months / 1 year / 2 years is conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Vocational Education , Mumbai. There are 19 institutions in the district and total intake capacity is 1560. A total of 580 students have been admitted in 2024-25.

  • To raise the quality & quantity of industrial production by systematic training of workers.
  • To reduce unemployment among the educated youth by equipping them for suitable industrial employment.
