Established in 1962, Govt. Industrial Training Institute Gondia is District ITI of Gondia. Located at Fulchurpeth, Goregaon Road, Gondia – 441601. The ITI premises is spread over 14 acres. A lush green environment has over 2000 full grown trees. It has an Administrative Building and three Workshops, Playground, Canteen and Hostel for boys only. Located in a tribal belt, it caters to the whole population of Gondia Dist.
Govt. ITI Gondia has 16 diversified trades, 13 Engineering and 03 Non-engineering. Out of the 16 trades 10 trades are 2 year duration trades and 06 trades are of 1 year duration. The total intake is 836 trainees. The training is imparted in the following trades:
The ITI provides placement assistance for Jobs and Apprenticeship. Last year more than 500 trainees were placed for apprentice and about 200 were provided with jobs. On Job Training is also provided for selected trades and selected trainees in various Industries located in the Dist.
The ITI is also selected for World Bank sponsored STRIVE Project. We also conduct short term training courses under PMKVY 3.0.
